Awana
Awana (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) is an international, Bible-based, Christ-centered ministry for children. This is taken from 2 Timothy 2:15, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
Awana meets on Wednesday nights from 7-8 pm. We start with worship & prayer followed by a fun game time. After this we break out into small groups, where age-appropriate lessons are taught, and scripture memory is encouraged.
Awana is open to all children and youth from any walk of life, starting at age 2, through 12th grade. We love to have college aged young adults, serving alongside our adults while helping to guide all of the children in their spiritual growth.
